Food Pantry
The Food Pantry at Christian Help, Inc. is open daily, and now serves more people than ever. The economy is affecting everyone, and families who have never had to seek help before are finding themselves in need of our assistance for the first time. In 2009 alone, we distributed food to 3,331 individuals--a number that includes both children and adults. Over $15,000 was spent last year, to supplement food that had been donated, keeping our shelves stocked and ready to serve the people of Morgantown and the surrounding areas.
Each household, regardless of their income or personal situation, is eligible to receive a three-day supply of food items for each family member. Households are eligible to receive food every two months. Homeless individuals are given food anytime it is requested.
Did you know? Upon request, the Food Pantry also includes baby food, dog or cat food, and toiletries with each order.
Get involved with the Food Pantry:- Donate toiletries and/or cleaning supplies
- Donate non-perishable food items, including baby food
- Make a monetary donation
- Volunteer to run food orders
- Volunteer to coordinate a food drive at home or work
